Partnered with technical expert to launch a new-frontier web design, digital development, and marketing business as an early market entrant. Drove business growth from a standing start to £8M in annual revenues and a peak valuation of £50M with 110 staff. Oversaw commercial business management including the development of an impressive client list that included: The FA, Financial Times, CityJobs, Open University, Centre Parcs, Avon, Total Oil, Eden Project, Wonderbra, PC World, Daihatsu, Business Link, DHL, Thomas Pink, Phillips de Pury, and Greene King. Executed strategies for eventual sale of business to Golley Slater, one of the UKs most successful full service marketing agencies.
 Cultivated an industry leading team that were nominated for numerous high-profile awards including: Deloitte & Touche ‘Technology Fast Track 500’, 2006; New Media Age ‘Effectiveness’ award, 2003; Deloitte & Touche ‘European Technology’ winner, 2002.
 Consistently named in top 50 (13th place of 100) of UK web and marketing companies by industry-leading digital marketing publication, New Media Age.
 Negotiated contract for the build and development of Financial Times’ first recruitment website, with creation of integrated back office recruitment systems and CV software. This site launched the FT’s presence into the wider recruitment market space as a respected industry leader.
 Oversaw the creation of the £330K CityJobs website from conception to project delivery; agreed equity share in the CityJobs business and supported the flotation of the company on AIM stock exchange.
 Directed the build of one of the first bespoke ecommerce sites with own-labelled billing and inventory systems for luxury fashion brand, Thomas Pink. Overcame internal client challenges to rapidly position the online retail outlet as the second most profitable store in the Thomas Pink group.
 Appointed as Digital Consultant to the Football Association; authored blueprint for every element of the FA website and played a key role as a member of FA Award Committee in the selection of an appropriate supplier for final web build.
 Steered development of corporate site for Total Oil; navigated political agendas and collaborated with client offices globally to agree segregated ownership of final website build.
 Co-invented and patented ‘Clickstream’ new technology that identified web session trends and page hotspots to measure audience behaviour; demerged and acquired by private equity consortium.
Transformed a clothing business from initial £65K turnover (Camden market stall), to achieve annual revenues of £850K within two years. Built strong retail and wholesale presence across the UK and Europe to establish a highly-profitable brand presence.
 Retail: Launched five flagship t-shirt stores in Leeds, Manchester, Cambridge, and London, to showcase large range of designs and encourage customer engagement with the brand’s trademark character.
 Negotiated a presence at mainstream festivals including Reading and Monsters of Rock Donnington Park, as the only external clothing brand permitted to sell t-shirts not licenced by festival operators.
 Wholesale: Exhibited at trade and wholesale shows in the UK and Europe; saw phenomenal success at the ‘Clothes Show Live’ catwalk event.
 Negotiated sole t-shirt supplier status for British Pavilion at Seville Expo, 1992.
 Brand Licencing: Licenced the brand’s trademark character to a Japanese enterprise; subsequently witnessed product launch across a variety of product platforms in Japan.
 Fashion Label Launch: Designed and established the Frogquest fashion label; drove sales across Europe over 12 seasons and achieved celebrity endorsements from Jamiroquai, Dr Dre, and Take That.
 Retail: Established flagship store in Carnaby Street, with additional outlets in South Kensington and Brussels.
 Wholesale: Presented at premier catwalk shows in UK, Europe, and US.

Initially recruited as an Expeditor for a major supplier of piping and steel tubes for £MM petrochemical and offshore global projects. Promoted through the ranks to ultimate position of Director Designate. Oversaw sourcing, procurement, inspecting, testing and shipping for a demanding client base including BP, Texaco, Marathon, Gulf, Total, Elf, Phillips 66, Stat Oil and Foster Wheeler.
 Procured £MM orders from UK and international steel mills; negotiated to achieve UK finance to support international export costs; trouble-shooter in the Middle East, accumulatively saved >$5M in penalties.
 Recipient of Queens Award for services to export, 1983.
